Frank Worrell

Aloha! I’m Frank…I’ve been performing on drum set for 58 years, teaching for 42, and have been with CMI since the day we opened, 25 years ago. I’ve studied with several excellent, inspiring instructors and have played with so many awesome musicians over the years. I’ll always be a student, and discover new aspects of music and of myself every day.

Learning to play an instrument requires the qualities of focus, diligence, and “being present in the moment”. These qualities mean little, though, unless a student has fun in the process and experiences the joy of playing music.

The integrity of the student-instructor relationship is vital and mentoring is a big part of it. I try to share with my students the importance of kindness and humility in their every endeavor…this world can certainly benefit from those expressions of character.

I’m the most fortunate cat on the planet to have followed the path of music. I absolutely love the learning process and am honored to have served hundreds of students and families in this awesome community. Thank you!
